- About to AFQB 2026 !
The International Conference on Biotechnology, Food Quality and Agriculture (ICAFQB 2026) will be held grandly in Tianjin, an important research and agricultural technology innovation center in northern China. This conference focuses on the deep integration of modern biotechnology, food safety assurance, and sustainable agricultural development, aiming to build an interdisciplinary and high-level international academic exchange platform, gathering experts, scholars, researchers, agricultural technology experts, food enterprise representatives, and government regulatory personnel in the fields of biotechnology, food science, agricultural science, molecular biology, nutrition, environmental science, and food quality supervision. The conference will focus on in-depth discussions on cutting-edge topics such as the application of gene editing and molecular breeding technology in crop and livestock improvement, innovative research and development of microbiome and biological fertilizers/pesticides, biomanufacturing of functional foods and nutritional health products, rapid detection and traceability technology for harmful substances in food, food safety risk assessment and full process quality control system, deep processing and preservation technology for agricultural products, application of smart agriculture and digital agriculture systems (such as the Internet of Things and drone monitoring), resource utilization of agricultural waste and circular agriculture models, the impact and adaptive strategies of climate change on agricultural production, new planting models such as plant factories and vertical agriculture, and the transformation of green and sustainable agriculture driven by biotechnology. Through various forms such as keynote speeches, thematic forums, paper presentations, technology exhibitions, and industry case analyses, we aim to promote the full chain technological innovation from farmland to dining tables, and enhance the safety, nutrition, and sustainability of the food system. ICAFQB 2026 emphasizes the core concept of "empowering agriculture with technology, leading health with biology, and safeguarding people's livelihoods with quality", and is committed to serving the national food security, healthy China, and rural revitalization strategy. The high-quality papers accepted by the conference will be recommended for publication in relevant international journals indexed by SCI, Scopus, or EI to enhance academic influence.

All full paper submissions to the AFQB 2026 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of AFQB 2026 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

-Submission Guidelines-
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to afqb@sub-paper.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
Call for Reviewers
As a platform for global academic communication, the quality of conference publication has always an aspect attracting much of our attention. To ensure quality of our publication and to better serve the peers in academic circle, we now call for reviewers among professionals and experts of the world. Professionals and experts who hold PhD (doctoral) degree in the conference related areas are encouraged to join in us and together, we will work hard to become a world-class academic conference. SCI JOURNAL
